Some of the Courses structures found in the ECU are:
  • The course structure for a postgraduate qualification can be followed in two ways –coursework or research
  • The majority of the postgraduate coursework disciplines offer a graduate certificate, graduate diploma and masters level courses
  • Advancement from a graduate certificate to masters can also be done as a natural progression.

International Masters Scholarship 2022:

ECU’s International academic scholarships are assessed automatically at the time of application, which makes it easier for the applicants to apply directly into the course of their choice, and can be assessed for scholarships at the same time. Once the application for the scholarships is successful, the Admissions Office will issue a separate letter relating to the applicant’s scholarship along with a Letter of Offer to their course of choice.

Some of the most commonly applied scholarships for international students are as follows:

International Undergraduate Scholarship 2022:

  • This scholarship is available for a range of courses, this scholarship is offered to future international students from selected countries.
  • The scholarship offers up to a 20% (per cent) reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course at ECU.
International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2022:

  • This scholarship is offered to future international students from select countries who can demonstrate a high level of academic achievement in their previous studies.
  • The applicants who have higher entry-level eligibility criteria are automatically eligible for this scholarship.
  • The scholarship offers up to a 20% (per cent) reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course at ECU.
Executive Dean’s 2022 Master of Engineering Scholarship:

  • This scholarship is offered to international students who have shown high academic achievements in their previous studies to study for the Master of Engineering.
  • The scholarship offers a 10% (per cent) reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the course at ECU.

ECU has 3 campuses in Western Australia, with each offering a modern, vibrant location for study and learning. ECU is committed to managing and maintaining our environment by reducing our environmental footprint and encouraging the achievement of a sustainable community.

ECU provides a supportive learning environment by providing a variety of on-campus services and facilities to all of the students that are categorized under Student & Staff focused services and Commercial outlets.

Student & Staff Focused Services include:

  • Accommodation:

ECU has on-campus accommodation at all the 3 campuses that are managed by the Campus Living Villages.

  • Childcare:

The two campuses Joondalup and Mount Lawley offer professional, well-equipped childcare centres.

  • Computer Labs & Wireless Internet:

Here the students enjoy 24 – hour access to on-campus computing facilities.

  • Counselling Service:

This service can help the students to address any academic or personal issues and it is free.

  • Equity, diversity and disability services:

These services provide support to students with diverse study needs.

  • Health service:

Medical centres are conveniently located on the Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses, providing GP and nursing treatments.

  • Hearing-impaired assistance:

ECU provides two types of hearing assistance systems that are induction and infrared. They are used in several teaching and learning rooms on all the 3 campuses.

  • Library:

Campus Libraries in ECU provide comprehensive book and journal collections, electronic resources and facilities for study and research.

  • Student Hub:

This is the first point of contact for all student enquiries, including academic information, enrolments and access cards.

  • Student Guild, clubs and associations:

In ECU, the student guild represents the students on a range of academic and legal issues. It also offers many social and cultural activities through a range of clubs and associations.

  • Food, cafes and bars:

From having a coffee on the run to a substantial meal, our campuses have a range of food and beverage options.

  • Hair and Beauty Salon:

The Crown Hairdressing is located on the Joondalup Campus which serves both staff and students.

  • Sport & Fitness:

Modern sports, recreation and fitness facilities are located on all three campuses.

  • Bookshop:

In ECU, the bookshop called “The School Locker” is the student’s one-stop shop for uniforms, badges, equipment textbooks, stationery and merchandise. The School Locker is open on the Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses on order online as well.

  • Print, Copy, and Scan Services:

The Luminate Printworks print centres are open to staff and students. On-site experts give you ideas and recommendations for the creation of brochures and posters, thesis printing, study notes and much more. 

  • Australia Post Parcel:

Lockers are available and it requires one to nominate to have their delivery directed to a parcel locker on campus to save oneself a missed delivery.
