The University Careers and Employability Service seeks to inspire students and promote their career success via collaboration, creativity and professionalism. The students and young graduates receive coaching and information to help them plan their careers and increase their skills, networking and connectivity chances. The University of Aberdeen undergraduate tuition and fees is between £18000 to £20,700 per year. 

With approximately 400 first-year graduation programmes from the University of Aberdeen, students are permitted to study and even change their position as their interests and aims change as they progress towards their studies. The opportunity to extend horizons is to acquire a new language, study abroad, study, merge traditional art and social sciences, etc. They encourage students to do activities that will not only interest them but also make a possible employer attractive and practical. That means students can add a scientific or legal course to their degree. They can also add current language or management studies to their degree of science. The University of Aberdeen provides scholarships of a few kinds to its students. Though there is a bit of competition to get them, it is worth applying. There are other scholarships awarded by the government and other trusts which students can get. The common scholarships are:
  • China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship: The CSC Scholarship is open to Chinese students pursuing their PhD from the university. It provides a full tuition fee waiver, airfare, and monthly stipend.
  • Aberdeen Global Scholarship: It is offered to Master’s students from selected countries. It awards a tuition fee discount of CAD3161.

The University of Aberdeen has several student associations and groups that help students connect with those from other countries. This allows students to understand different cultures as well. Dance competitions, exhibitions, and literary festivals will be conducted occasionally. There are over 50 Sports Clubs and Societies too. The library has a collection of over 1.3 million books. The labs are all highly equipped, and so is the Science Teaching Hub.
